Go for it. It seems like drivers in late life decline get a pass unless their family steps in. While it might be irritating when it happens, sound minded me would rather have future me be stopped by a system before hurting anyone. Self driving cars might actually work by then anyway so it wouldn’t even be an issue.

As a person with an almost inhuman level of emotional self awareness and regulation (yay childhood), I actually recognized that this was probably why I was never “baptized in the Holy Spirit” while I was still a Christian. That wasn’t the tipping point for why became atheist, but it did hold the door open.

As long as people don’t try to be in denial about it actually kicking off the way they did when Russia was very clearly loading up for the invasion of Ukraine.

It really is. A young lady mentioned to me that the ear pieces she was using hadn’t been charged for the last three days. She just keeps them on so random men don’t bother her at the store, etc. At the same time you hear about incel types complaining that woman are taking measures to prevent being harassed being mean to them, and the patriarchal types are being themselves about it all.

Not how long I’ve been around, it’s what I’ve been around. Clearly you are suffering from thinking you know more than you do. I’m haven’t bothered typing out the nuance of all this as it is truly beside the point. I’m also not going to spend anymore time trying to improve your understanding because your attempts at condescension demonstrate that it would be a waste of effort. Good day.

I’ve been around a bit more than you know. Disease and toxins are what they are and after you hit a certain threshold the concentration essentially doesn’t matter anymore. Water molecules are all the same (unless you are getting pedantic about radioisotopes). Once it’s clean, it doesn’t matter where it came from.

Renters are paying all the expenses for the property they live on, including the cost of maintenance that they could possibly be doing themselves, PLUS a nice amount of profit for the person that they rent from. Rent prices also don’t scale well in the lower range, so people are paying more for less.

And the biggest driver of habitat loss is CO2 emissions. No even counting what it’s doing directly to the ocean, warming is making a lot of habitat that looks ok untenable for many species. Humans don’t realize this because even without clothing and air conditioning we are comfortable in a wide range of temperature.

While it looks wonderfully unappetizing, what does it add (haha) to the culinary arts? Cake icing and chocolate art seem most functionality applicable but takes the craft out of it. Maybe some novelty treat for the fad clout.
