Weird, because this is literally my copy/paste of the vote by mail section that best I can tell makes no mention of when ballots are going out by mail:
> Voters can request an absentee ballot online, in person at the Office of Elections, by fax (804-646-7848), or by email (Absentee@rva.gov).
>Prefer the ease and comfort of voting from home? Virginia law allows voters the option to join a Permanent Vote By Mail Roster and have their ballots sent directly to their preferred address ahead of every election.
>Click here to apply to Vote By Mail and join the Permanent Roster. Make sure you complete section 3 of the application. You can access the paper absentee application here.
>The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot for the March 28th 2023 Special Election is March 17th 2023.
>All absentee ballots, those sent by mail and those cast in-person, are counted on Election Day in Virginia. Ballots must be postmarked by Election Day or dropped off at the Office of Elections no later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.
>IMPORTANT – Please mark your ballot using a black or blue pen.
>What if I received an absentee ballot by mail but I want to vote in person?
>1. Return your un-voted ballot by mail. • Leave or reseal your un-voted ballot in Envelope A and mail using the pre‐addressed return envelope. • You will receive a new ballot when you go to vote in person. >2. Take your un-voted ballot with you when you go to vote early in person or on Election Day.
>Important! If you lost your absentee ballot, you can still vote in person. Notify the election official when you come in person to vote. If you choose to vote in person and do not return your un-voted ballot, you will be offered a provisional ballot which will be reviewed for counting after Election Day.
Eh, just got a little concerned that I haven’t seen anything yet about it, and the deadline is so close. Permanent mail-in voting has been a game changer for us and would never go back willingly.

Maybe I’m blind, but I’m not seeing when the mail in ballots will be sent out through the USPS?

Reply to Does anyone know a good local web developer? I am trying to set up a Shopify site for a brick and mortar store. I would prefer to work with a local business if possible, but the ones I have reached out to seem more interested in selling SEO. Any helpful suggestions are appreciated! by aimingforenkrateia
A friend of mine is part of a local ad agency called Pixel Strike that does some neat work. They’re good people.

Thanks for the links. I’d be interested to see if these improvements would affect any possible North/South BRT-Pulse route that’s being considered right now.
Also, those Median U-Turn lanes on Laburnum sound….weird.

Maybe? but he’s been so consistent in it over the past decade+ that I’ve been aware of his existence that I’m willing to consider it could be legit.

That's a legit old Richmond accent. Usually you'd expect to hear that from an octogenarian, not some 30 something white dude.

Really? Haven't had Verizon pull the 'ole xfinity shuffle on me yet and it's been several years since we switched. Though to be fair, the second they do anything underhanded I'll bounce. Don't have any patience for their shenanigans.

Almost 2 decades of dealing with Comcast and their shady practices made it an easy decision and I immediately switched over to Verizon when it became available in our neighborhood.

Cool! Thanks for posting, I was finally just able to see a launch. Every time I’ve remembered about one they scrubbed the launch and then I’d forget about the next time.

Hey, maybe school board member Gibson can vacate her seat and run against Lambert, making sure that either way we'll be rid of at least one bad local official.

Fox elementary burned down this spring. They’re currently rebuilding it, apparently trying to save the existing brick exterior.

Looking forward to the Oystoberfest. It’s within walking distance, and I like supporting the good stuff St. Thomas does for the community. Many years ago I volunteered at their weekly food bank and it was awesome.
