What are you talking about? Did you reply to the right person? Are you ridiculous?

>It's representative government

Yes, we elect representatives to serve in legislature, yes, good job guy. We're talking about executive appointments here, keep up.

What I'm saying is that if people from western regions are asking for more representation, and want to advocate for their regions, that's great, but it can also be a curse - by advocating for their regions they'll also be inviting people from outside to start looking that way more often. It will cut both ways.

To me, anything west of 495 is way out there. Worcester is practically NY. That said, the folks from west and Central MA ought to be careful on this one. It's totally understandable for them to want a bigger slice of cake, especially when they see Greater Boston and the rest of Eastern MA digging in.

But you stick too many fingers in the pie, and the pie...fingers...back? I lost track of my analogy there. Basically what I'm trying to say is if you're asking not to be ignored you're also asking for increased scrutiny.

>Dying people may view themselves as a burden

I'm going to say something awful.

I've seen enough dying people in my life to know that they ARE a burden, almost universally, when that death is drawn out. A horrible burden, one that saps the strength, the will, the hope, and the light out of the people that care for them.

Any dying person that wishes to avoid being that terrible burden on the ones that they love have the God given right to make the choice not to be that burden, and government and a falsely polite society have no right interfering with that.

Dementia has struck every elderly blood related person on my dad's side of the family. Already I can see it coming for him. I know it will come for me too. I will not let my loved ones have to babysit me while I scream in fear, soil myself, and try to call police on the threatening "intruders" who have loved me their entire lives. It's not happening.

Dang, Christo's in Brockton made the list which wasn't even very good, but the really special joint was its neighbor The Lobster Hut across the street. Best lobster bisque you could find. They put huuuuge chunks of lobster meat in it and if you were nice enough to them and asked them to scrape the bottom of the pot for it, you'd get a ton of it. Miss that place.

Woburn teachers went on strike and got what they wanted. Government morons played that game of chicken for a whole week, but the workers refused to yield. Beautiful.

To all bad school "leaders" and the unqualified unintelligent government monkeys who prop them up - we're coming for you.

You know what I've come to realize more than anything else using this sub? I hate food snobs. Hate them. Despise them. Scum of the earth.

Whether it's the ones who look down on any place that doesn't run you at least $150 for a dinner for two, or the ones who think it isn't worth it unless they serve your food the rotting bark of a swamp tree instead of plates, or the ones who say it isn't cultured unless it's in a rat infested basement whose last residents were murdered in a gang initiation, or the ones who say they won't eat anywhere other than AsianIndianSalvadoreanDanish fusion...

If you are one of those you're the worst. The absolute worst. Insufferable clown.

Thank you for attending my rant.

"All publicity is good publicity" and "there is no bad press" are adages older than I am, and for good reason.

Telling me that Neo Nazi Clown Club is active in my town doesn't protect or inform me of anything. It does let other fascist swine know that there are like minded villains around for them to metaphorically copulate with.
