Works the same in Chrome, thanks for the tip. There is the tried and true Ctrl + +/-, but beyond a certain point the images res starts to degrade.

Doesn't look like you did anything wrong. Outside of the leaf collection months I notice they sometimes don't take mine, then will get it on a different day. Not sure if it depends on the guys on the route, how full the truck is or what.

The Philadelphia sub has Moving Mondays that they pin every Monday. I don't know how strict they are about limiting moving posts to that, but it nicely organizes all the moving questions.

Thanks. This confirms the trees near my house are Bradford Pear and not Dogwoods. I cannot smell the pear trees (thank goodness, apparently!).

I can't smell them either, apparently. Surely these can't all be Dogwoods blooming around me.

It is! Unexpectedly cool since the outside looks like a typical row house. There are quite a few like that in BC. Some people really did neat things with their dollar house rehabs.

Could be. She's a wealth of info about the program; has been interviewed in the past for news articles, etc. And yeah, me neither; I wish. Edit: I overlooked the link someone posted to a podcast on Spotify. I was referring to Judy.

I've chatted a few times with someone who did it in the late 1970's in Barre Circle. Lot's of stops and starts, problems with contractors, etc. Interesting stories about her and her neighbor's rehabs. In the end it was worth it. She still lives there.

This explains why people drive like bats out of hell from Pratt on down. Pissed off and trying to beat the light at Washington Blvd.

Last week there was a cop heading north on MLK Jr. Blvd, flanked on both sides and behind by a group of about 15 guys on dirt bikes popping wheelies and what not.

I'm on the east end of Pigtown and switched to T-Mobile over a year ago. It's been stellar! I also work from home most days. I think I pay $50/mo all inclusive.

You're lucky! I drive to NoVA twice a week. I've seen some really aggressive drivers (weaving, speeding, tailgating). No guns fortunately, but I still breath a sigh of relief when I get to the office in one piece. I go in really early and with less cars on the road, it's speed racer central some days. edit: And not lucky about seeing guns waved around, yikes!

Ah, the only pic I see is of people boarding a bus. I read the article and thought "relatable". What color her skin might be didn't really cross my mind because this is an every person who has to ride the bus story (or chooses to as many advocate for in lieu of cars). Google stalking her didn't cross my mind. Edit: because my grammar sucks sometimes.

How do you know she is white? Did I miss something? I think middle class can be inferred based on job description. I'm assuming (maybe incorrectly) that this is one of the people that they asked to send in tips as part of the Better Baltimore series; follow up maybe?

We've been to Quarantine Rd a few times (drywall, 2x4's, cabinets, etc) and they just wave us in and point us where to go (the back in spaces with dumpsters). Don't even bother to look in the bed of the truck or ask for my ID even though I'm in my friend's pickup truck with out-of-state plates, which I think is odd. We always go on a Saturday, not sure if that makes a difference.

I went from Pigtown to Charles village and back and watched three people either blow through red lights, or stop for a second then take off through the intersection. Ridiculous and dangerous. I'd like to see traffic stops. And a speed camera on the MLK dragstrip between Pratt and I395.

Serious question- regarding the repeat posts on this sub for many topics. Can I get some insight into why people don't seem use the search bar before posting? Is it not easily seen on mobile or something? (I've rarely logged in on my phone because I'm on or near my laptop most of the time).

I relate. I'm too young to be a boomer, but I am old enough to remember when a lot of things were far simpler to accomplish.
