Outside of a few weirdly specific hotspots it seemed like that was already happening in South Jersey? They didn’t seem as prevalent. Or maybe I just got used to them.

Or just plain ol anxiety, if it happened on a regular basis. Not every athlete’s mental health issue comes from brain damage.

Please be as critical as you want of this number because I have no idea how accurate such a survey can be but I’ve seen it estimated that ~60% of the homeless population in Philly is from somewhere else.

Step 1: give them other shit to scratch
Step 2, and this one’s the big one: anything your cat can reach, it will probably mess with at some point. And that’s okay.
It ain’t rocket surgery. Cats need to scratch stuff to exercise and shed their claws, otherwise they’ll become ingrown.

Yeah it’s hardly a utopia, I’m sorry if I sounded like I was painting an overly rosy picture. It’s gotten better, though, and more importantly seems poised to continue trending in that direction.
Just be prepared for bullshit and keep your wits about you. And if you’re ever feeling down you can always go to the aquarium and say hi to their prehensile tailed porcupine.
Seriously, their nose looks like a giant pink marshmallow, it’s goddamned adorable.

Camden gets nasty but the nasty is very localized. It used to be murder city but the violence has plummeted in the last decade.
Nowadays it’s not crazy dangerous if you pay attention, but it is still a very poor area and your car will almost certainly be broken into at some point.

Also like he was probably scared. My girl spent the first night at my apartment making biscuits next to me with her tail in full bottle-brush mode. Changing environments is tough on an animal.

26 in 2016. An old college buddy of mine found a surprisingly cheap apartments complex in Haddonfield and we moved in as roommates. At the time I was still working at Whole Foods, $13/hr or so at 40 hours per week. Fast forward to now and I’m very much enjoying Haddonfield’s cap on rent hikes.
