I don't understand how they would get away from it from a standards perspective. Like if they were a less well known company, sure. But their specs listing would have to show "USB4 (MFi only)" or something like that.

I would try to activate it anyway. Maybe it isn't tied to whoever purchased it. Legally you are protected. If they ask for it back they would have to send you a paid return label.

Ok I tell everyone this: If you think you might need more space, you really don't. The only people who need the 1TB etc. are professional videographers/vloggers who use iPhone for some weird reason. For everyone else it is much cheaper to just pay for as much cloud storage as you need for the duration of owning the phone. Chances are you already pay for Amazon Prime which already gives you unlimited free uncompressed photo storage.

By the way it’s $18 from Newark DE to Trenton on Septa, and it takes 2 hours on that alone if you luck out and have 0 min transfer wait.

I never said it was better or worse than Amtrak. You brought that up. I was replying the other person to say it isn’t the perk they think it might be. For $30 and 3 transfers with wait time in between you’re better off driving up than taking 4 commuter trains.

The closer to departure date the higher the cost.

I typically look for weekends so that might be why.

amtrak isn't typically that expensive. as low as $20. typically ~$60. and 0 transfers.

also I believe you would have to transfer in Philly as well on the Septa. so 3 transfers?

not really. it would be like $30 with two transfers and take like 4 hours to get to nyc
