I think I was one of about 12 young people who moved here in the 1980s and everyone I met who was from here seemed to hate it here.

I once worked with a guy who lived on the same block that he grew up on and that his wife grew up on and both families still all lived there.

Right but again unless you're independently wealthy, you have to jump to something that pays your bills. I know some former PG reporters and photographers personally and they don't always have a lot of options. It's not a great climate for either career.
