To the east of Ukraine is a huge state that has colonized many nations and is stealing their oil and gas to make its oligarchy hideously rich and fund further colonization.

If I’m not mistaken climate forecasts are based on these reports lies. Which means all anticipated negative outcomes will happen earlier than predicted and have worse effects.

Same question here. I heard one of the researchers state that one of these elephants “contained” 2500 daily meals. I guess you need to form a party to kill one, if there are 50 people they would have been able to feed themselves and 200 relatives for 10 days. As it’s stated in another study about Neanderthals cooking crab over fires, if you cook part of the meat, or if it’s cold enough, storing over 10 days seems possible.

This ecosystem should make efforts on the accessibility front. It’s not passing WCAG at the moment.

If there are frogs waiting for water in the sand, there was flooding before… Australian climate has huge variations even without climate change, that’s why the country is also at high risk from its effects.

The frogs will fill back their water bubble where they will remain for years until the next rain or flood.

A recent study found that motivation for exercise might be regulated through the gut microbiome (https://www.reddit.com/r/science/comments/zmkhld/a_microbiomedependent_gutbrain_pathway_regulates/).
A bad diet might make people less motivated to exercise, and both those things are bad for mental and body health.

There’s no pronunciation help for kākā on wikipedia, but there is for kākāpō, the night parrot: /ˈkɑːkəpoʊ/ KAH-kə-poh; Māori: [kaːkaːpɔː]
So: KAH-ka.

It’s not difficult to achieve a high level of physical activity (150mn + per week) while locked down.
