It can be reached by bike as well. That would be much cheaper than renting a car or Uber and it is a great way to see more of the suburbs while traveling to the Lexington Battle Green.

I probably wouldn't use a blue bike and I would rent a bike specifically for it but it technically is possible.

Sure they use the chromium rendering engine but that doesn't mean it isn't the same thing. The conflict over the browser vertical integration wasn't about the rendering agent. It was about the fact that everything about it was forced and further sent you to Microsoft products. And because it was installed by default and not possible to remove people just stuck with it which cut everyone off their competitors out of the market.

> They use chromium now, and are running linux at home too, they even have a quiet little linux distro now. Things changing dramatically in there lately.

Oh trust me I know. I am a dotnet developer who has pushed my department to shift from framework to what is now dotnet 6+. All my local development is using wsl2 and runs on docker in the AWS cloud.

That doesn't change that the actual settlement agreement was that they don't force you to install their browser and with W10 they did the exact opposite by design. They changed a lot of their practices for the better but they actively went against the bound settlement they had with the US government. Their only protection being that the Apple ecosystem has been getting away with the same shit for decades now so the public perception of it is that it is the status quo.

No one is saying that they won't work. They are saying that investing millions into them right now isn't the best investment when there are far worse deficiencies in the MBTA system.

When we have had people fail through stairs to their deaths at MBTA stations, then the risks of the being dangerous electricity in areas you are clearly not supposed to go isn't the problem we should be fixing.

The GLX stations are there but most are no longer connected to the green line at all.

It is impossible to get from Ball SQ to Lechmere without connecting between the Magenta line and the Silver Line to get to Union and then taking that 1 stop to Lechmere. That is an extremely bizarre decision especially because it doesn't factor in the fact that there is already a ton of infrastructure to connect those together directly.

What would have made a ton more sense would be to have the Washington Street Magenta station continue to Somerville Park St and then Porter Street and the whole new branch to Waltham Center would be the Magenta line rather than a Green Line.

They need to reform the curriculum at the same time. Community College should be rediciculously targeted at the best bang for the buck trades skills and professions that are needed for the state economy.

Go learn basket weaving on your own time but if you want to be a teacher, you want to be a nurse or medical aid, or any of the skilled trades then absolutely we should be making the foundation of those tracks as cheap as possible. We need those skills and as a tax payer we should absolutely be funding it.

I think it would look good as a wire frame of just the body with a minimum facade for the face. It wouldn't absolutely balloon the cost but it would still be enough to make sure that you think of it as arms rather than a penis.

I would be pissed if they allowed some nobody to watch camera footage of the gym.

>I asked the manager to search their database by address for users who came to the gym at that hour on that day when I lost my AirPods. The manager refused. It seems like she doesn’t want to help me at all. Very bad person.

I would be even more pissed if they revealed my PII to some random claiming they lost something.

I don't think it will make you feel any better but I routinely see people who work at the Eliot upper school park just like this except they do so in a way that forces pedestrians into the street.

Repeated 311 reports every time I walked by and the parking like that seems to have gotten the message through. Now they just park in the no parking areas of the road.

It is crazy the audacity and selfishness that some people display.
