theres 2 bball courts in Harrison, one on frank e rodgers behind the soccer field, and one next to the fire station in harrison. Both have people playing all the time when weather is being nice.

Jersey city, hoboken, all have path stations which would make your commute to school accessible

Without knowing hotel budget, tough to say what I'd recommend as there are super cheap to super expensive for hotels within the area of Metlife.

I believe both are full co-ed besides the bathroom areas. Have been to both with my wife and never was told I couldnt go somewhere with her besides the ladies change/bath area.
